New Lincoln Museum Opens Across From Ford’s Theater

It’s been 203 years since President Abraham Lincoln’s assassination, and the site of his death is now the site of a new opportunity to learn about Lincoln’s legacy.

FOX News Radio’s Rich Johnson takes a deeper look at the new museum from Washington:

The new “Center for Education and Leadership” is across the street from Ford’s Theater, and it takes a different route in tracing the Lincoln legacy.

(Reynolds) “Most museums are about things.  This place is about ideas, it is about Lincoln’s spirit.”

…Chairman Wayne Reynolds of the Ford’s Theater Society.  The center contains two floors of permanent exhibits on the immediate aftermath of Lincoln’s assassination, as well as studios, learning labs and – as with any private museum – a gift shop.
