Teen Allegedly Stabs His Grandma 93 Times to Make His Uncle Suffer

A 19-year-old Florida man is expetced to make his first appearance in court Thursday on charges he murdered his own grandmother.

FOX News Radio’s Eben Brown reports from Miami:

Deputies in Polk County, Florida say 19-year-old Jasper Smiddie got so angry at his uncle, he decided to make him pay by killing his uncle’s mother, his own grandma, Gloria Helfrich.

(Judd) “Gloria was stabbed 93 times… 58 stab wounds in the back, 34 in the head and one in the face. He comes back into the room and decides to hit her in the head with a pipe wrench.”

Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd adds Smiddie then waited for his uncle to come home and had dinner with him, with the body hidden in the bedroom.
