AEHQ: Florida Primary Polls

On Tuesday, Republican voters in Florida will finalize their choice for their party’s nominee for President. There are four men in the race, but only two have been in contention for the top spot. Polls have been showing a shift away from the previous race’s leader.

FOX News Radio’s Eben Brown has details from America’s Election Headquarters:

From America’s Election Headquarters…

Newt Gingrich pounded victory on his chest in South Carolina, but polls in Florida, now, show he once again might not catch up to Mitt Romney.

(Bevan)”Well, you never say never, especially in this year where the one constant in the Republican primary race has been the volatility.”

Tom Bevan’s RealClearPolitics.com computes averages of opinion polls and shows Romney leading in Flordia by about 11 points. Perhaps that’s too big a defict at this point for a Gingrich comeback.

(Bevan)”Support can shift very quickly based on events or mistakes by candidates, so I wouldn’t say it’s out of the question.”
