Russell Fry: Republicans Realize We Have To Fix The Border In The Next Congress

South Carolina Republican Congressman-elect Russell Fry joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to discuss the ongoing crisis at the U.S. Southern border, and what lawmakers in his party are planning to do next year in order to fix it.

“We’ve had record amounts of people that have poured across the Southern border. You’ve got Title 42, which is set to expire soon. I mean, you have fentanyl coming across the Southern border. Everyone is looking at this and going, this is a disaster. And you know, I hear from Republicans, certainly, but Democrats and Independents, I mean, people want a secure border. They want a nation of laws to remain a nation of laws, and to have a president who vacations pretty frequently but never make a trip to the southern border. Heck, he was just in Arizona last week and they said, are you going to visit the southern border? He said he had more important things to do. I mean, this is an issue of national security. It touches every facet of who we are as a people. And so I hope that he’ll wake up. I don’t have a lot of optimism on that, but that’s where a Republican majority in the House can really drive some discussion, because we have to fix the border.”

Russell also explains how the incoming Republican-controlled Congress can push for more fiscal responsibility. To hear what else he had to say, listen to the podcast!
