Iowa Sets Deadline for Mystery Lotto Winner

    Time is running out for the winner or winners of a multi-million dollar lottery. But first, Iowa Lottery officials demanding answers.

    FOX News Radio’s Jane Metzler reports:

    The Iowa Lottery warning a New York lawyer to start naming names by Friday afternoon, or it won’t pay a multi-million dollar jackpot.

    A ticket, worth at least $7.5 million was turned in on December 29th, minutes before a one year deadline expired.

    Attorney Crawford Shaw claiming it was purchased for a trust at a Des Moines gas station.

    Iowa Lottery officials, not so trusting. They want to make sure no laws have been broken and the winner is not a problem gambler or another so-called prohibited played.
