Evening Edition: Possible Train Workers Strike Looming Again
Three years of bargaining between railroad unions and rail companies have reached no deal and now nearly half of all nation’s freight rail services are at risk of shutting down. Supply chain nightmares would erupt if all twelve unions don’t make a deal to avoid a work stoppage, and many expect Congress to step in if a deal is not reached. FOX’s John Saucier speaks with FOX’s Ed Lawrence, FOX Business Network’s White House Correspondent, about the sticking points between unions and companies and what sort of consequences could our economy face if a deal is not made.
