Heart Attacks & Sex Study

Worried about ‘doing it’ with a heart problem? Here’s some reassuring news for heart patients about physical activity and intimacy.

FOX News Radio’s Hank Weinbloom reports:

You are probably not going to have a heart attack while having sex.  That’s the conclusion of a report for the American Heart Association.  It says even if you have heart disease, if you can walk up a couple of flights of stairs without chest pain or getting out of breath, you’re ok to do the deed.  Doctors say sexual activity is responsible for less than 1% of heart attacks.

But, they say certain kinds of activity are more risky.

An older married man having an affair with a younger woman, maybe in an unfamiliar setting; those factors could raise the stress level and bring on a heart attack.
