LA Hotels Could be Forced to House the Homeless

Could vacant hotels in this major American city be forced to house the homeless?!

I’m Tomi Lahren, more next.

Homelessness is a huge problem in Los Angeles but forcing vacant hotels to house the homeless is so utterly absurd and so utterly California!

But in 2024, voters in LA will be empowered to make that decision.

If voters approve this nonsense, every hotel in town from the grimy to the glitzy will be forced to report vacancies and then welcome homeless people who have vouchers from the city.

These hotels would get market-rate for the rooms paid for by…taxpayers of course!

LA county already budgets $800 million towards the homeless crisis and because the bureaucrats have yet to lessen the problem, paying hotel guests should be forced to room next to homeless individuals?

Let’s not forget that a good portion of the homeless population in LA has drug, addiction, and mental health concerns. This proposal isn’t just ridiculous, it’s unsafe!

California Democrats claim to care about homelessness but yet they pass every tax, regulation and surcharge imaginable to make it unaffordable to live in the Golden State.

This ordinance is not a solution, it’s a load of crap!
