Dana Perino: Joe Biden Still Thinks He’s Running Again In 2024
Co-Anchor of “America’s Newsroom” and co-host of “The Five” Dana Perino joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to share her thoughts on why a rising number of Democratic lawmakers are refusing to directly answer questions about whether President Biden should run for reelection in 2024.
“I remember, it wasn’t even six weeks ago that the first Democratic anonymous source was in The New York Times suggesting that Biden shouldn’t run again. And that lasted about a week. I thought that was significant. And then, basically everybody just ripped the Band-Aid off and Democrats were on the record saying, yeah, I don’t think you should. Or now they’re saying, I don’t think he will. I think that Biden thinks he probably is running right now. I think in his mind, I think that he does. I think that his wife might think, oh, we’re going to have to talk about this. I know that they would like to run again. I just think that when you have Democrats and friends of yours who no doubt wanted him to succeed, they wanted him to be president. They see the writing on the wall. They don’t want him to run. And these are not going to stop. Every reporter now knows that in a debate or when you have a chance to talk to a Democrat, the first thing you’re going to ask them is, do you think Joe Biden should run for president again? That’s never going to end until he says yes or no.”
Dana and Jimmy also react to White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre saying the Supreme Court took away a constitutional right when it overturned Roe V. Wade. Listen to the podcast to hear what else she had to say!
