‘Cheetah’ The Chimp Dies
A famous performer from 1930’s Hollywood has died at his retirement home in Florida.

Remember the Tarzan movies with Johnny Weissmuller? (Yelling)
Weissmuller died nearly 30 years ago, but Tarzan’s trusty chimpanzee companion just passed away at the ripe old age of 80.

This chimp actually was called Cheetah and had been living at the Suncoast Primate Sanctuary near St Petersburg, Florida. The current owner says her family got Cheetah from Weissmuller himself.
