Harris Faulkner: Democrats Are Realizing They Need A New Guy At The Plate In 2024
Anchor of “The Faulkner Focus” Harris Faulkner joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to shed light on why a growing number of Democrats are starting to acknowledge that President Biden is not the best choice to lead their party’s ticket in the 2024 presidential election.
“On January 20th of 2025, that’s when the next president would take office, he will be 83. So everybody talks about, he’s 79 now. He’ll be 86 when he’s done with two terms. Let’s just get to the very beginning of that term and imagine what that first year would be when he can’t reflexively undo what the previous president did because it’ll be him. What will he be doing? And if these first 18 months has been this bumpy with this many crises and Democrats, lawmakers and voters, jumping off the ship, what will the beginning of the next Biden presidency look like? And I just don’t think Democrats even want to fathom that. They need a new guy at the plate.”
Harris and Jimmy also talk about First Lady Jill Biden’s speech in San Antonio during which she compared Latinos to breakfast tacos. Listen to the podcast to hear what else she had to say!
