Carrie Severino: Packing The Supreme Court Is A Horrible Idea That Would Destroy The Institution

Judicial Crisis Network President Carrie Severino joins Fox Across America With guest host Sean Duffy to push back on the calls by New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and certain other Democrats to pack the Supreme Court in response to Roe V. Wade getting overturned.

“I cannot explain how bad an idea that would be. You know, Ruth Bader Ginsburg herself recognized this is a horrible idea. The only reason Democrats are advancing it is because they think they could do it in a way that would solely help their side. And that is the epitome of politicizing the court. Really, what would happen is, they add a few justices. Then the next time Republicans have control, they’re going to have to add a bunch of justices back, and eventually you have to start building a new wing onto the Supreme Court building because you can’t fit the whole court in the same building. I mean, it’s just a disaster.”
