Will Hurd On Holding Law Enforcement To Higher Standard In Uvalde & The Long-Term Mental Health Impact On The Community

Will Hurd, former Texas Congressman who represented Uvalde, spoke to Brian Kilmeade about the Robb Elementary School shootings. Hurd believes there were many mistakes made by the police and they should have immediately gone into the school, especially with children involved. Hurd says law enforcement has to be held to a higher standard of accountability. Hurd also discussed the commonalities in mass shooters and the importance of helping schools and other facilities to be better prepared and have the right training to protect themselves. Hurd is also worried about Uvalde only having one mental health professional and the resources that the community will need to deal with the long-term mental health impact.
