‘I Just Find It Inexplicable’: Andrew McCarthy Reacts To Police Response Uvalde Texas School Shooting

Andrew McCarthy, Fox News Contributor, Former Assistant U.S. Attorney For Southern District Of NY joined the Guy Benson Show to react to law enforcement’s slow moving response to the shooting in Uvalde Texas.

McCarthy reacted by saying,

“I just find it inexplicable. I was willing. I think we all should be because of our human experience with these sorts of things, to assume that there’s a kind of a fog of war that descends on these kinds of incidents. And you expect that the initial reporting is going to be inaccurate, not because people are lying, but just because people are in panic mode and they also see the same things from different perspectives. So you there’s a certain amount of inconsistency and doubt that you expect to get. But the thing I find horrifying about this in in that particular I mean, this is a horrifying episode from beginning to end. But usually as the fog clears, you feel like you have a better understanding of what happened and why. And I’m finding with respect to this, exactly the opposite. The more we hear, the less I understand what on earth they were thinking.”
