FOX on Tech: Twitter Unveils Overhaul

In an age where social networking sites are constantly changing to keep up with the times, Twitter reveals a significant overhaul – and it’s already reached some users.

FOX News Radio’s Chris Hoenig details the changes:

The Home screen is redesigned, making it easier to view videos and pictures in tweets.  Mentions of you in the Twittersphere and interactions with others are found on a Connect page, still marked by an @.  But now, a # icon takes you to a Discover page – complete with the day’s top stories, trends and even some suggested follows.

The changes are designed to help simplify the sometimes-confusing world of @this and #that, and make it easier to find people and companies (such as @foxnewsradio) on the site.  The update hit mobile devices Thursday morning, and rolls out in the next few weeks on the web.
