Bill Hemmer: Democrats Are Bringing Obama Back Into The Spotlight To Try And Save Their Party Ahead Of The Midterms
Co-Anchor of “America’s Newsroom” Bill Hemmer joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to discuss former President Obama returning to the White House on Tuesday to promote the success of the Affordable Care Act with President Biden.
It was Obama’s first visit to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue since he left office in early 2017. According to Bill, this visit was part of the Democratic Party’s strategy to help boost enthusiasm ahead of the midterms.
“These two men have a different relationship, and I don’t know why. But, you’ve got midterms in eight months and Democrats are going to fire everything they can. There’s not a lot they can fire at policy wise because a lot of things are on the downtrend. But I believe yesterday was the coming out party of sorts for Obama to come back into the political life and go on a campaign several months from now and try and get Democrats reelected.”
Bill and Jimmy also talk about Tiger Woods’ highly-anticipated return to Augusta, and whether they believe he can win The Masters. Listen to the podcast to hear what else he had to say!
