After being fired as coach of the Miami Dolphins, Brian Flores is now filing a lawsuit against the Dolphins, the NFL, the New York Giants, and the Denver Broncos for racial discrimination during the interview process. When New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick mistakenly sent Flores a congratulatory text before his interview, it became clear to Flores that the text was meant for Brian Daboll instead. The lawsuit claims that Flores had only been given an interview to comply with the Rooney Rule, a policy that requires teams to interview and consider diverse candidates for coaching positions. Mercedes Colwin, founding partner of the New York offices of Gordon & Rees and FOX News legal analyst joins the Rundown to discuss the allegations that have been raised, how she thinks the case will proceed, and the rules in place to address racial disparities in the NFL.??
