Tomi Lahren: Affordable Beef Should Be A Bipartisan Issue
Host of “Final Thoughts” and “No Interruption” on Fox Nation Tomi Lahren joins Fox Across America With Jimmy to Failla to give her take on New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio Cortez’s maskless Miami brunch. She tells Jimmy why she thinks AOC might be ‘pulling a Kardashian’ by trying to get famous without actually having any talent.
Tomi also brings attention to the regulation of the meat packing industry, an issue that hits close to home for her. In response to inflation impacting meat prices, the White House has a new plan which focuses on trying to increase competition in the market. According to Tomi, there’s a certain regulation she thinks has to be enforced in order to give Americans the most affordable choices for their beef.
“It’s called Country of Origin Labeling, COOL for short. And that means that the beef products that we currently have in our grocery stores do not have a Country of Origin label on them, so we don’t know where the hell they’re from. Now, they can say product of the U.S.A so long as they’re packaged here, but that could be Brazilian beef, Mexican beef. We don’t know where it’s coming from. So the Democrats are onto something when they say the meat packing industry is pulling the wool over everybody’s eyes because they are. The meat packing industry does need to be regulated. It does need to have Country of Origin Labeling. But that’s so our American ranchers and farmers can compete with this cheap foreign beef coming across our border. So that is something that people need to pay attention to. It could be a bipartisan issue. ”
Tomi and Jimmy also react to President Biden saying COVID-19 continues to be a pandemic of the unvaccinated.
Former Obama Economic Advisor Robert Wolf also stops by to talk about the record levels of inflation the U.S. is experiencing and why he thinks President Biden is going to run for re-election in 2024. To hear what else Tomi and Robert had to say, listen to the podcast!
