Marc Thiessen: Biden Hasn’t Even Tried To Unite The Country
Listen To The Full Interview Below:
Marc Thiessen, columnist at The Washington Post, a Fox News contributor and a fellow at the American Enterprise Institute joined the Guy Benson Show to talk about Biden’s stalled agenda and the situation in Afghanistan.
Thiessen had this to say,
“So here’s the poll that matters the 2020 election in which the American people elected a 50 50 Senate and gave Democrats a razor thin majority in the House, it’s now just three votes, right? That is not a mandate for socialism. That is a mandate for compromise. That is a mandate for reaching across the aisle and trying to work together with the other side to get things done, which is what Joe Biden campaigned on. That was his promise. I can unite the country. I can bring. I can end the rancor, I can bring Republicans and Democrats together. Well has he done it? No, he’s not. He’s not even tried on the one issue where he was shamed into doing and doing a bipartisan bill. His own progressives, the infrastructure bill. His progressives have taken that bill hostage with his blessing.”
