Rep. Tony Gonzales (R-TX) Describes The “Scary” Drug Smuggling At The Border

On Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla, Rep. Tony Gonzales (R-TX) talks about how much fentanyl has been stopped at the Southern Border and why the Biden administration’s handling of immigration is to blame.

“I think people are ready for help. People are ready to go. I don’t care about the emotional response to it. I live in the real world and in the real world, I see this every day. You talk about fentanyl. What worries me is we are apprehending record numbers of folks carrying fentanyl over, so what that really tells me is there’s record numbers of fentanyl that we’re not catching. That’s what should scare all of us is all the stuff that’s coming through that we’re not catching. Because I know over 40 percent of Border Patrol agents, they’re not in the field, they’re in these processing centers. They’re having to process these migrants. So what does that mean? That means more junk is getting through our southern border because of it. And it impacts everybody. Every city, every state is a border state, is a border city and a border state because of what the Biden administration has done.”
