Congressman Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) joined Fox News Radio’s Guy Benson Show to react to Speaker Pelosi’s move to reject two GOP congressman from January 6th select committee to investigate the Capitol riot.

Congressman Crenshaw reacted to the move by saying,
“I think McCarthy couldn’t have played this better, you know, and and not even sure he could have predicted Pelosi’s actions on that, maybe he did. And she did make a mistake doing that. But frankly, I think the whole commission is a mistake. I mean, I think I have the same opinion about what happened on January six as you do, and I don’t like people downplaying it. Look, I understand that you can show videos of people just taking selfies and, you know, just kind of laughing about it. But you can also see other videos that are much, much worse. And we have to acknowledge that it was a bad day. But I also don’t think there’s any mystery as to what happened that day. And that’s why I am against the commission and for one it’s very obviously politically motivated. But two you can’t compare this to like a 9/11 Commission. You know, the 9/11 Commission had real unanswered questions. There was real mysteries to solve, like real intelligence failures that really needed to be rooted out. That is not the case here. It’s quite obvious what happened and why it happened. I don’t think there’s any mystery to it whatsoever. And so what is the commission looking for? You know, a commission should have a set of questions that it’s trying to get answers to.”
