The United States and Taiwan opened trade talks Thursday discussing improving supply chains and concerns over workers’ rights and climate change. Also today, Chinese President Xi Jinping gave an aggressive speech, commemorating the Chinese Communist Party’s one hundred year anniversary, saying he pledges a ‘complete reunification’ with Taiwan.
