Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA): Loeffler & Perdue Are A Firewall Against Progressives’ “Far Out Agenda”
On Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla, Senate Finance Committee Chairman Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) explained why the Georgia Senate runoff election means for the future of the Senate.
“If we don’t have fifty-two Republicans in the United States Senate, Schumer takes over. You’re going to have statehood made for D.C., for Puerto Rico, four more Democratic senators where you may never see a Republican senator in the next generation. They’re going to have the Green New Deal. They’re going to pack the Supreme Court to get the Supreme Court to legislate from the bench and take federal power away from the Congress of the United States. They’re going to move away from the interpretation of the Constitution to our original intent and and then increase the power of government, increase the power of the judiciary. There’s a lot more you could say, but Loeffler and Perdue are to make sure that the Senate, a Republican Senate, is a firewall against all these far-out agenda of progressives. And that really scares me.”
