Juan Williams Previews DNC Convention Speeches
Juan Williams, FNC Political Analyst & Co-Host of the Five spoke with Fox News Radio’s Guy Benson and Previewed this week’s DNC Convention Speeches. Williams gave his thoughts on the lineup saying,
“Well, I just don’t think there’s much doubt about it. I think people are going to want to hear Michelle Obama tonight. And I’m also very interested in Bernie. Bernie is going to be a sort of an interesting play because, again, if there’s a division in the party would be between the moderates and the growing number of people who self-identified as liberals in the party. And Bernie clearly came in second in this contest, then on Tuesday night. This is more interesting. Jill Biden is there, but I’m really interested to hear Alexandra Ocasio Cortez. She doesn’t have much time. But again, a of statement from the left wing of the party on Joe Biden and the future of the party. And then, of course, on Wednesday, you come to I don’t think I think this is must see TV. Kamala Harris really introducing herself to the nation. And it comes back to the conversation that we were just having, Guy. Who is she? Barack Obama also speaks Wednesday. And I just think that, you know, he’s the star, the leader of the Democratic Party at this juncture. And then, of course, finally on Thursday, Joe Biden. But I’m also interested, by the way, in seeing Andrew Young, Andrew Yang speech right before Joe Biden. So he’s going to get prime time coverage. And I think that he is becoming a star among Democrats in a way that I would never would have predicted.”
