Housecall For Health: Arthritis & The Military
U.S. Service Members are at a higher risk for developing early joint disabilities.
FOX’s Colleen Cappon has more in this edition of Housecall for Health:
A NEW STUDY SHOWS THE HIGH PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF BEING IN THE MILITARY REALLY TAKE A TOLL ON A BODY’S JOINTS.
DATA FROM THE ARTHRITIS AND RHEUMATISM JOURNAL PROVES THAT U.S. SERVICE MEMBERS ARE AT A HIGHER RISK OF EARLY DISABILITY FROM OSTEOARTHRITIS.
THE CONDITION IS ASSOCIATED WITH TRAUMATIC JOINT INJURIES AND AFFECTS OVER 26 MILLION AMERICANS.
RESULTS SHOWED THAT RATES OF OSTEOARTHRITIS WERE TWICE AS HIGH IN ACTIVE AND RETIRED MILITARY THAN THE REST OF THE GENERAL POPULATION.
HOUSECALL FOR HEALTH, I’M COLLEEN CAPPON, FOX NEWS RADIO.
