Children of military personnel are more likely to suffer from mental health problems the longer their parents are overseas.
The study in the Archives of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine looked at kids whose parents served in Afghanistan or Iraq. It found those kids are more likely to suffer from adjustment, behavioral, depressive or stress disorders than kids whose parents have never been to war.
Researchers found one out of six kids had mental health problems.
