FOX on Tech: Twitter Town Hall

President Obama is showing, once again, that he embraces social media.

FOX News Radio’s Pam Puso has the story in this edition of “FOX on Tech”…

Since President Obama has started tweeting, it’s only fitting the White House host a Twitter Town Hall.

“Twitter co-founder & Executive Director Jack Dorsey will moderate a conversation between President Obama and Americans across the country about the economy and jobs,” says White House Spokesman Jay Carney.  “Twitter users can submit questions using the hashtag #askObama.”

Taking questions submitted on social networking sites is nothing new to the President – Facebook hosted a previous public meeting.

The Twitter Town Hall takes place on Wednesday, July 6th at 2pm ET in the East Room of the White House.  A video feed will be streamed online at http://askobama.twitter.com and at http://wh.gov/live.
