Actor John Goodman opening up about cancellation of ‘Roseanne’.

FOX’s Tonya J. Powers reports:

Actor John Goodman, opening up about what it was like for him after “Roseanne” was cancelled.

He’s he star of ABC’s “The Conners,” which is essentially “Roseanne” without Roseanne Barr, appearing on Jimmy Kimmel last night, saying it took him awhile to recover:

(Goodman): “Last year was so miraculous and so unreal that when it went away, it was almost like a dream. I thought, ‘okay, I’ll be a big boy and handle this’. I just crashed for a couple weeks.”

Goodman says he misses working with Roseanne because after so many years “it’s like a family.”

It was a tweet, perceived as being racist, that got Roseanne Barr fired and the “Roseanne” reboot cancelled in May.
