Housecall for Health: Popular Baby Survey

Which would you prefer – a baby boy or a baby girl?

When it comes to having a baby, sugar, spice and everything nice is NOT what Americans prefer.  A major survey from Gallup, polling over a span of 70 years, showed that if U.S. couples could choose just one child, 40% would pick a boy.

Only 28% said they would want a girl, and the remaining didn’t have a preference.  The percentages were very similar to results when the same question was asked in 1941.
