A potential 2020 challenger to President Trump is laying out a proposal to weed out what she sees as corruption in government.

FOX’s Jared Halpern has more from Capitol Hill:

A proposal pitched by Massachusetts Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren would put a lifetime lobbying ban on government officials after they leave office and prohibit lawmakers from trading individual stocks:

(Warren) “Outside Washington, I expect most people will see these ideas as no brainers and be shocked that they’re not already law.”

In her speech at the National Press Club, Warren sidestepped a question about her 2020 intentions, saying she’s focused on the 2018 midterms and re-election to the Senate.
