NRA Comments on ‘Bump Stocks’
The National Rifle Association is commenting on the controversy of so-called “bump stocks” like the one to used by the Las Vegas gunman to rapidly fire a rifle in the vein of an automatic firearm.
FOX’s Eben Brown reports:
The NRA is asking the Federal Agency responsible for regulating firearms to review whether or not bump fire stocks comply with existing federal law, and that while the Obama White House twice approved bump stocks for sale to the general public, the NRA believes devices allowing semi-automatic rifles to function like fully automatic rifles should be subject to additional regulations.
A measure to restrict bump stocks is getting bi-partisan support in Congress, just days after such a device was used to perpetrate the worst mass shooting in U.S. history.
