Sales are soaring for the device that Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock used to convert his guns to fully automatic weapons.
FOX’s Steve Rappoport has the story:
Gun enthusiasts are rushing to buy bump stocks as some lawmakers consider banning them in the aftermath of Paddock’s rampage.
Manufacturer Slide Fire suspending new orders because of a low supply and another website that sells the device posted a message online, saying they’re out of stock.
Democrats and Republicans typically disagree on gun control, but GOP Senator Dean Heller of Nevada supports regulating bump stocks:
(Heller) “If those guns had remained as semi-automatics as opposed to full automatics, we could have saved dozens of lives.”
Paddock had a dozen bump stocks on weapons in his hotel room when he carried out the massacre.
