President Trump on Barcelona Terror Attack: U.S. “Will Do Whatever Is Necessary to Help”
President Donald Trump has remained away from the media Thursday, but has offered a comment on the deadly attack in Spain.
FOX’s Gurnal Scott is covering the President in New Jersey:
President Trump took to Twitter to comment on the attack in Barcelona that authorities there believe was an act of terrorism. In his tweet, President Trump says the U.S. “condemns the terror attack” and “will do whatever is necessary to help”.
As Chief of Staff John Kelly keeps the President abreast of changes, the Departments of State and Homeland Security are actively keeping tabs on any new developments.
In addition to the President’s words, First Lady Melania Trump has also offered her support tweeting “thoughts and prayers to Barcelona.”
