That’s the Ticket! Amazon’s Next Business Venture

Amazon is looking to penetrate another market to shake things up.

FOX’s Hilarie Barsky reports:

Amazon.com could soon be selling tickets to your favorite concert. Reuters is reporting that the eCommerce giant is looking to partner with us venue owners to sell event tickets. If it does happen, the move would loosen Ticketmaster’s powerful grip on the lucrative ticketing business.

This is the Seattle based company’s latest attempt to use its massive customer base, and tech savvy, among other assets, to turn an industry upside down.

Amazon views the U.S. ticketing market as ripe for the picking with customer’s loathing ticket fees, and venue owners, sports leagues and team, looking for distributors for their tickets as they try to boost sales.
