Schumer: Can’t Start a Health Care Fix without a “Spark”

Three Senate Republicans help defeat a partial repeal of the Affordable Care Act. Now what?

FOX’s Jared Halpern has more from Capitol Hill:

Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer is urging Republicans to turn the page on repealing the Affordable Care Act and work on bipartisan fixes to the health care law:

(Schumer) “But I think sometimes you need a little spark that inspires the forces of coming together to outweigh the forces of coming apart.”

There’s no guidance on how Republicans may try to move forward on health care legislation. House Speaker Paul Ryan in a statement says he’s disappointed, but urges colleagues not to give up. He suggests the House is moving on to a goal of overhauling the tax code this year.
