Ohio State Fair: Deadly Ride
Eight injured in a roller coaster accident in Ohio.
Fox’s Jeff Monosso has more:
18-year-old Tyler Jarrell was killed yesterday when the Fireball ride he was on broke apart injuring seven other, three critically.
Ohio Governor John Kasich touring the fair with investigators the Midway and all rides have since been shut down:
(Kasich) “If that’s what ultimately it was an accident, you have to talk to the big guy upstairs to figure out that one out, but we’re doing everything we can to make sure this place is safe.”
Meanwhile the ride’s operator has had several accidental deaths over the past few decades.
But nothing involving serious ride malfunctions like the one we saw yesterday.
