May: “I Will Now Form a Government”

Following Thursday’s shocking election results in Britain, the Prime Minister has met with the Queen.

FOX’s Simon Owen has more from London:

Theresa May returning to Ten Downing Street after a meeting at Buckingham Palace:

(May) “I have just been to see her majesty the Queen and I will now form a government.”

May saying she intends to stay on as Prime Minister, despite her Conservative party losing its majority in the UK Parliament: It is still the largest party.

But opposition leaders say May should go:

(Sturgeon) “The Prime Minister has lost all authority and credibility.”

That’s the Scottish National Party leader Nicola Sturgeon.
