“Taxi” Star Marilu Henner Discusses Her Husband’s Battle with Bladder Cancer, Career

May is Bladder Cancer Awareness month and for actress Marilu Henner, the disease hit very close to home. Her husband Michael Brown was diagnosed more than 13 years ago and is now in remission.  Henner, best known for hit TV shows like “Taxi” and “Evening Shade” and a successful 2016 stint on “Dancing with the Stars” is also a noted health advocate and author. Her New York Times bestseller, “Changing Normal: How I Helped My Husband Beat Cancer,” is now available in paperback.

FOX’s Jane Metzler talks with Marilu Henner about the couple’s experience with cancer diagnosis and treatment. The two are joined by an expert in bladder cancer research and treatment: Dr. Matthew Galsky, Director of Genitourinary Medical Oncology at the Tisch Cancer Institute at New York’s Mount Sinai Medical Center.
