Former Acting Attorney General Sally Yates Under the Spotlight
Uncovering the truth about alleged Russia’s meddling in our election. One former official testifying about the warnings she gave the White House.
FOX’s Malini Wilkes reports from Washington:
Former acting Attorney General Sally Yates says she went to the White House weeks before the resignation of former national security advisor Mike Flynn.
She says she was troubled that the vice president had unknowingly made false statements to defend Flynn over his Russia contacts and that the Russians knew Flynn was misleading his bosses:
(Yates) “That created a compromise situation. A situation where the national security advisor essentially could eventually be blackmailed by the Russians.”
Republican senators grilled Yates about leaks, demanding to know how Flynn’s conversations ended up in the Washington Post. She said she didn’t know.
