Nicki Minaj Helps Out Some College Students
Singer Nicki Minaj is picking up the tab for some college students.
FOX’s Jacquelyn Karl has more:
Nicki Minaj’s walking the walk for today’s youth, paying some fans tuition starting with a fan asking the hip-hop star on Twitter if she’d pay his college tuition Saturday night.
Minaj agreed to pay fans’ school costs, but they have to show her perfect grades. The singer writing, “Show me straight A’s that I can verify with your school and I’ll pay it.”
Then a few dozen fans took Minaj up on the offer, posting screenshots of their grades. Minaj replied individually to some throughout the night, agreeing to pay other things like book costs and student loans, wrapping up the contest after a few hours, but promising to do it again in a month or two.
