Vermont’s Giving Out “Golden Tickets” worth a Year of Free Parking

    A Vermont town taking a page from a classic movie for a modern-day giveaway.

    FOX’s Paul Stevens reports:

    Officials Brattleboro, Vermont, taking a cue from “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” and giving away “golden tickets”

    “Cause I’ve got a golden ticket. I’ve got a golden twinkle in my eye…”

    Tavenier Chocolates, packaging special chocolate bars on sale now thru May 14. Lucky winners will find just three “golden tickets” in those bars.

    The prize? Nothing magical, but “golden tickets”, each worth up to one year of free parking in downtown Brattleboro, that’s worth up to $400.
