Barry Manilow Reveals He’s Gay
A music icon reveals he’s gay.

Barry Manilow telling People Magazine exclusively he’s gay. Manilow’s finally opening up at age 73 about his husband and manager Garry Keif and their romance of 40 years.
He shot to fame in 1974 with the hit “Mandy” followed by hits “Looks Like We Made It”, “Copacabana” and “Can’t Smile Without You.”
Manilow telling People “I’m so private. I always have been.” Adding when he met Keif in 1978 “I knew that this was it. I was one of the lucky ones. I was pretty lonely before that.”
Manilow says he wasn’t ready to come out publicly, even after marrying Kief in a private ceremony at their 53-acre Palm Springs estate in April 2014.
