North Carolina advanced to the Final Four of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament for a record 20th time, beating Kentucky by two on a last second jump shot.
South Carolina, which hadn’t been to an NCAA Tournament in 44 years, upended the Florida Gators by seven points to reach the national semifinals.
Saturday, in Glendale, Arizona, South Carolina will face Gonzaga, favored to win by 6.5 points. The late game will feature North Carolina against Oregon. The Ducks in the Final Four for the first time since the first NCAA tournament in 1939, which they won. Oregon an underdog of 4.5 against North Carolina.
