Step Aside Soda!… Bottled Water is King of the Land
A milestone for bottled water in the U.S.

In 2016, Americans drank more bottled water than soda for the first time. Nearly 13 billion gallons.
Research from the Beverage Marketing Corporation says growing health concern about sugary drinks is a factor. But critics of bottled water success say all those bottles aren’t ECO friendly.
And while tap water tends to get a bad rap, especially after a crisis like the lead in Flint, Michigan, the majority of it is safe. Plus some of today’s popular bottled water is just purified tap water.
But it costs at least a thousand times more…
