Doug Wead: President Trump’s War With The Media Is Healthy For The Nation But Ultimately Will Be Bad For Him
“It may be bad for Trump, it’s very health for the nation….I think it is bad for Trump ultimately, not right away. I think he is winning with it right away”
—Doug Wead on President Trump’s war with the press
Presidential historian and New York Times bestselling author Doug Wead joined Kilmeade & Friends in Washington D.C. to discuss his latest book “Game of Thorns: The Inside Story of Hillary Clinton’s Failed Campaign and Donald Trump’s Winning Strategy”
Wead spoke about how President Trump is a “master of branding” with his slogans such as “Make America Great Again” and why those who say the President should not go off message miss the point because when he is off message he is on message and his message is “I ain’t no politician” and why the President’s war with the media is healthy for the nation but ultimately bad for him. Wead also spoke about Hillary Clinton’s disdain for Catholics and Evangelicals and how her refusal to go out and campaign for their votes were a big reason she lost many of the swing states.
Plus, Wead on why President Trump was the only republican candidate capable of defeating Hillary Clinton and how the press is all of a sudden in love with President George W. Bush eight years after he left office
