President Trump’s New Labor Sec. Pick Is In – And He’s A “Star”

The President has named his new nominee for Labor Secretary.

FOX’s Rachel Sutherland reports from Washington:

Alexander Acosta is someone the President called a “star, great person” at a Congressional listening session at the White House. Reporters soon scurried to the East Room when he announced a pop news conference:

(President Trump) “We had a little time in between things, so if the press would like to show up… Will anybody show up to this press conference?”

Acosta is currently dean of the Florida International University College of Law in Miami. Former pick Andy Puzder withdrew from consideration after it was revealed he employed a housekeeper who wasn’t authorized to work in the U.S.
