Cyndi Lauper Wasn’t a Fan of Madonna’s Women’s March Speech

A pop star is calling out Madonna’s Women’s March speech.

FOX’s Michelle Pollino reports:

Cyndi Lauper is not getting in line behind Madonna’s profanity laced speech at the Women’s March. During an appearance on Andy Cohen’s “Watch What Happens Live”, Lauper said, she was glad Madonna was there, but:

(Lauper) “I don’t think it served our purpose because anger is not better than clarity and humanity.”

One person she did think made a difference with her speech Scarlett Johansson. Lauper said the way Johansson shared her story was clear and eloquent.

Madge was criticized for her use of vulgar words and saying that she had thought about blowing up the White House, which the 58-year-old claimed her remarks were taken “wildly out of context.”
