German Shepherd Being Forced into Water While Shooting “A Dog’s Purpose” Sparks PETA Outrage
Controversy surrounding a dog being forced into a violent stream of water during filming ”A Dog’s Purpose”.

A video showing a German shepherd being forced into a wave pool surrounded by a film crew posted on TMZ is causing a stir. The dog Hercules was shooting a scene for the new movie “A Dog’s Purpose”:
The clip showed the dog swimming in the violent stream head barely above water as he hit the wave pool wall he went under:
Producers from the film company Amblin Entertainment addressed the situation to TMZ, saying the German shepherd was not forced to complete the scene, and shooting only resumed when he was comfortable. PETA is calling for a boycott of the film.
