Plow Right Through! ND Lawmaker’s Bill Protects Drivers who Hit Someone Blocking Traffic

A North Dakota lawmaker’s bill would protect drivers who hit someone while deliberately obstructing traffic.

    FOX’s Jeff Monosso reports:

North Dakota Republican state rep. Keith Kempenich is sponsoring a bill that would reportedly protect drivers who inadvertently hit pedestrians blocking traffic, in other words it would protect drivers who plow through mobs of protesters who’re in many cases unruly and illegally blocking traffic.

Kempenich tells the Minneapolis Star Tribune the legislation is a response to protests over the North Dakota Access Pipeline and says that if protesters stay off roadways then it’ll never be an issue.
