Japan Nuke Plant: Radiation levels Surge
Japanese nuclear officials say radiation levels inside a nuclear power plant have surged to at least 1,000 times their normal levels after the cooling system failed. Some radiation has seeped outside the plant causing further evacuations. The cooling system for a reactor at the Fukushima Daiichi power plant failed on Friday after the massive 8.9 earthquake caused a power outage. Pressure inside one of the reactors is building.
